Sometimes we are asked why we charge for course bookings changes and why we have a course change and cancellation policy.
Course changes : each time a course change is made, one of our administrators have to release the booking and issue a new one. At the same time, we may need to advise others who are on the cancellation list. Customers cannot see this, but it does take up much time in telephone calls, voicemails, emails and callbacks hence we have to cover our costs like most service companies.
Late change & cancellation policy : when a course is booked, this means that we cannot offer that space to a potential new enquirer. If someone chooses to change a course booking within working 17 days, we maybe in a position to offer this to someone on the cancellation list or take a late booking. All our workshop shopping lists, assistants etc are organised 7 days in advance so if within 7 days a cancellation occurs, we may not be in a position to resell a booking thus we operate at a loss.

These polices are standard with all similar institutions and we recommend that private insurance is taken in order to cover any losses you may incur for non attendance or course changes. We are happy to issue a non-attendance statement to 3rd party insurers
